Once, long ago, humans roamed the earth, going between land masses with ease and pleasure. This was the natural way of things. There were many wild animals on the planet, wolves among them.

One day, a white wolf was lost and thirsty. Her name was Leda. She came upon a body of water that stretched as far as her eyes could see. Thinking it something to drink, she lapped it up quickly. It was bitter to the taste, but it would do. She found, upon drinking it, that it made her feel very strange. Overcome with dizziness, she fell into the water, plunging in over her head. Yet she did not drown. She felt solidity beneath her feet, and when she looked up again, discovered that she was on an underwater land bridge. She hadn't noticed it before, but now she could see it.

Are you curious yet? Then Enter Now.

Eagerly she ran along it, splashing the bitter water into her coat. She ran for three days, and on the third day she found an island. She named it Reikoku-Soul Island-because there was no one on it. That is, she thought there was no one on it.

She found that the island was plentiful with all the wildlife she'd known in the past, but without many predators. She was the main predator here, along with a mountain lion here and a bear there. She ate many things and drank the sweet lake and river water that came from the island. After she had been there a while, she discovered a change in her appearance. She was no longer white, as she had been, but silver, with ice blue eyes. Not only this, but she sprouted wings.

One day, while she was flying about the island, she noticed something she hadn't before. It was another wolf. It was a male, big and black, and he had wings of red. She went down to him, and he explained to her all about the island.

His name was Chryses, and he had lived on the island for two years longer than Leda had. He said that the island's water was magical, and it gave them powers normal wolves didn't have. The two soon fell in love, and began to populate the island.

And so it went that many children were born, and the island soon grew full of wolves of all kinds. Some of the wolves didn't have powers, as Chryses and Leda had, but some of them did. Once Chryses and Leda were gone, the wolves continued to grow within themselves, and they split into groups.

Shiro and his mate began the Heart pack, loving all and caring for all who came into their territory. Shiro's worst enemy, Kuro, began the Heartless pack, trying to compete with Shiro. The Full Moon pack was made much later, created by Gata. The New Moon pack was created when a wolfess named Sakura asked Gata for permission to split his land in two. And, very last of all, the land that was left was named Kuran no Hikari by its founders-Kaen and Koori. Thus, all of the packs were made and that was the start of Watera no Tamashii

Warriors:The New Clans

The Great Journey had been a dangerous time for the four clans of the forest. After loosing their home they were forced to trek across the land and over the mountains, where sadly many lives were lost. The most tragic of these incidents, was when a rockfall separated thirteen cats from the group. They were presumed dead by their clanmates and their losses were mourned. Unknown to the clans however, all of the cats survived. Away from their loved ones they went in the other direction, however they ended up even farther away. Eventually they settled down near the base of another mountain, and StarClan watched helplessly as their population grew. Seasons passed and soon their numbers could rival that of the original clans. They still lived under the warrior code and StarClan. A solution was found when a prophecy was finally sent by StarClan;

Four new Clans will arise from the Darkness
As strong as those beside them
And closer to the stars then before

The large amount of clan cats broke up into clans; the ThunderClan cats went to SunClan, RiverClan became RainClan, Shadow to Night, and Wind to Snow. It was settled, and boarders were made, and cats seperated. Now it is three generations later, and the new clans still thrive, but all that can be changed in a heartbeat...

And spat me right back out. At this very moment, in fact, I'm lying in a rumpled heap, covered in its spittle.

Attractive image, hm?

Well. I'm definitely sorry I haven't been on much, and I'm going to make an effort to change that. I can promise, though, that it won't be a daily thing. Unfortunately. -_-;

I'm writing a story for a contest, and it's due at the end of the month. Aside from nanowrimo, I've never written so much, so fast. (And, thankfully, so well. ^^) But that's swallowing up most of my free time.

As most of you will remember (I hope), I'm in college now. It sucks, in case anyone was wondering. Fate is completely justified in the incredible amounts of whining she does. (Just kidding, lovely. =P) Anyway, my classes are both hard and boring, and my living situation isn't ideal. I'm going to try to pull a fast one and move in with my friend. Try being the key word in there; I have no idea if she's even interested in having a roommate. ><

The highlight of my life right now is that I live within a ten minute bike ride from Borders. ^^ I spent seven hours there on Saturday and ten hours on Sunday.

And seriously, guys, if anybody asks me what I was doing in a bookstore for seventeen hours, I will clobber you. (READING. Duh. xP I got through three books this weekend! ^^ Incredibly cathartic.)

Aaand I digress. (Surprise, surprise.) To the point: I've been spending all my free time writing my contest story, and pretty much the second that ends, Nanowrimo starts. (I highly encourage everyone here to sign up and try it. It's hard, but easily my favorite part of the year. ^^) So I'm sorry I haven't been on much, it will change, soon, but not an extreme amount. >_<

<3 you all. ^_^

`Apology Neglected

Time, turns its head, blue skies fall.
There’s more, hid neath hopeful lies,
And I still remember.

Why do I, feel all alone here,
Lost in life’s repetition,
Is it so hard, to say I’m sorry,
Or am I that weak?

Predictions have been made for centuries as to when the tribulation will occur. It's a pity no one ever listened. When it was discovered that the Mayan calender ended in 2012 it stirred havoc and chaos amidst the minds of true believers. That assumption was wrong. It was nothing but a process. Every religion has marked the end of man kind in some way or another. In different ways, but all have the same conclusion. Whether you're a Buddhist or a Baptist one thing is very clear. Spirituality can make you or break you. It's all a matter of what you decide to do with it, and how you choose to carry that out. You never know. The conclusion you draw might just surprise you.

Everything was fine in San Fransisco until the Christmas of 2012. I can't exactly say I never believed in creatures of the night or spiritual awakenings, but I can say I never found those things to be a threat until now. When the first snow in four years fell onto the golden gate bridge I felt something stirring inside me. The next day News reporters all over the world were stating the claims of missing persons. How can so many people go missing in one night? Where did they go? It was disturbing and strange, and a part of me felt like it wasn't anywhere near over yet. The night following that rumors of vampires started to spread. The, "I saw this." or "This is what I heard." Traveled all the way up and down the state line. I thought it was just assumption. The imagination of wayward minds finding their own conclusion to the events and the anomaly of missing people. I was wrong.

By March the vampires had made their siege. They had made their existence known to all of us. The news stopped the redundant play on the missing citizens and started and active rebuttal to the awakening of the leeches that plague our streets. A small number of them are good, the rest are terrible and cruel. They run in packs. Whether of

three, or thirty. One vampire is very rarely by themselves. They attack much like raptors. With a set offensive and defensive players, and those who work alone simply lure people to them like a spider to a fly. There was soon set a curfew for our state to follow. We were to end our day at sunset and begin our day at dawn.

The vampires weren't the worst of our problems.

When the vampires had finally established aesthetic rules to their hunting. A new breed decided to make their presence known. They were part man and part animal. Canny shape shifters who bore an unrealistic loathe to the locusts who were draining our blood. Humans like me implored them, but we soon realized they were loose canons and most of them did not hold the goal to save us from extinction. There was an old feud to be settled and we had nothing to do with it. We were simply in the way.

This marks human defeat. Whether we're slaves to a vampire, like myself. Or we've crossed paths with a werewolf. We'll never be the same. I write for lack of nothing better to do, until my mistress grows weary with hunger and I am once again subjected to the sharp point of her teeth.

Today I am quite sure it is September. Summer has ended and the werewolves are now in control, but only for the moment. There are plots to break their shields of defense.

What I find strange when I turn on the news; alone in the chamber for the evening. Is that now- the well groomed man has stopped talking of vampires, doggish men, and disappearances. He has now started talking of godly events. Every other day someone is being interviewed. Someone who has experienced something of divine grace or something of a religious multitude.

I now know one thing is for certain. Nothing is impossible.

Words that I’ve said from the start,
‘I’ve been, cold’, soft dreams, they fade in,
While reality, stained by faux tears, grow old,
I mend my heart,

In hopes, that you’ll be good
Now, blind, a faint old rhyme.

It was a long time ago, longer now than it seems
in a place that perhaps you've seen in your dreams.
For the story that you are about to be told
Began with the holiday worlds of old.

Now, you've probably wondered where holidays come from.
If you haven't, I'd say it's time you begun…

So, it's been a few years since the mess with Halloween and Christmas and so far all's been well. Jack and Sally (although they haven't gotten into a serious relationship yet) are closer then ever and Jack is thinking it's about time that they got together.

But things have been taking a turn for the worst, something has blown into town, and although people don't know who this mystery man is, everyone is all but certain that he is after the title of Pumpkin King, and a few folks seem to think that this dark and cruel figure would be better fitted for the job.

There have also been whispers in the wind that the awful Oogie Boogie has returned and is laying in wait, bidding his time until he can claim revenge on poor old Jack.

And as if that wasn't bad enough it seems that the Door to the Realm of Mortals has been malfunctioning (coinciding with the arrival of the mysterious stranger), and it has opened a passageway to three strange inner worlds, giving the mortals and the Halloween Town folks the ability to move between the worlds at will.

Things are becoming hard to keep track of, so now it's time to choose your path, are you with the Pumpkin King or against him? And what of these other realms with there own special 'heros'?

It's all up to you for this is, after all, Our Town of Halloween

Simone tried to hide the delight that bubbled inside her, knowing by the girl's tone that it wouldn't make her happy. So she was in the beginning stages of the Sight, that much was certain. It would be wonderful if she could catch her off-guard sometime and torture her. No human should be able to see her kind, and this gave her at least a reason to torture Isabella. For now, she led her to a pixie and handed her off. The pixie's grip wasn't as loose as Simone's-no doubt the girl would notice-but Simone wanted to find something else to do before she became bored of the human. She disappeared into the crowd without so much as a word to Isabella, leaving her "to the wolves" so to speak.

All the pixie could do was grin a wicked grin.

Sacred Heart is a private hospital, as most hospitals in America are, which means budgetary problems often arise. It aims to offer the best care possible to the people who need it, but people are commonly unable to pay for the bills or are uninsured, so the help they need is not always the help they get. The hospital has some state-of-the-art facilities, but some areas of the building are in disrepair. The running of the hospital is influenced by the chief of medicine and by a Board of Directors. Dr. Kelso was formerly the chief of medicine but has since retired and Dr. Cox took over.It offers emergency services, clinical help, and other medical processes. It has a large staff of surgical and medical doctors, and offers a great educational setting for medical students and interns.

The staff of Sacred Heart Hospital are dedicated to the patients, and always try their best. Sometimes they work so hard their job takes over their lives. There is a strict hierarchy of power at Sacred Heart, but decisions are often challenged. The hospital employs some very experienced doctors down to interns, all who have the opportunity to learn from each other.

Dr Kelso retired and Dr Cox took over Chief of Medicine, and the hospital is running the same. J.D. and Kim desided just to be friends, while trying to be good parents to Sam. Elliot still doesnt know what she wants, After breaking the engagement with Keith, He moves on. Turk and Carla are planning Izzy's Birthday Party, Izzy turns 1 years old. Dr Cox and Jordan are still disfunctional as usual , Jack turns 3 and Jennifer Dyaln is now 5 months old. Janitor still follows J.D. everywhere and Janitor and Lady are also engaged.

Harlow looked at Nikolai for a moment when he dropped his glamour. Fay never really looked the same with there glamours, and such. Personally she liked to change herself with her glamour sometimes. Nikolai looked good she thought....for a fay. She preferred her human pets, remind her how cold she really could be.
Harlow grew bored with staring at him after a moment. She turned too look at the child. She looked like she had the stuff to come with her, grow up in the fairy world. Help Harlow for the next hundred years. Harlow stroked her hair, it was pretty thick and brown with even soft curls. Harlow looked at her, a twinkling laugh left her lips again, as she kissed the child's cheek. The child didn't blink. She wanted to watch the fairies too much to notice. Harlow touched her shoulder, she hated too admit it. But this one did seem weak. She shot a look towards him. "What's wrong with my taste," she asked. "Little girls, to love and spoil with everything I have, boys are too much of a hassle," she shot him a look. Boys included him.
She thought about it for a second, maybe she was buying a present for the summer court by bringing this child to the courts. "Maybe your right, she seems a little cold," she told her. The warmth in her skin was odd, she ran colder then most like the winter court. But Harlow could see inside her, she would shrink. Harlow waved her hand over the child's head, leaning down she whispered into her ear. "You want to run away now," she told her. The little girl followed not turning back or looking at the fay. Harlow felt the familiar cold across her heart as the child ran away. She turned her face to the side, she didn't want to see if. Feel alone again. "She had summer court in her," Harlow said as if too explain her actions. That was the warmth that attracted her too the child.
"The courts haven't forgiven me for the last child, I don't want another wrath," she said. Not lying twisting her words, the last child. Had gone to the dark court, sweet little child. She was always drawn to the darkness. Where Harlow was drawn towards the light. She looked over Nikolai, "Now do you intend on finding me another child, or do you plan on standing there all day," she said. She blew a touch of cold air towards him. Without her glamour she was kissed white. Snow flowed around her, touching her pale skin. She held in the shiver as the cold touched her for what she wished was the last time.

OOC: By that I meant she could become like a fairy slave sorry for confusion.

welcome to St. Mary Academy

This is St. Mary Academy, one of the finest boarding schools in California. Known for its beautiful, lavish campus and reputation for producing top-notch graduates, mere admittance into the school is a highly sought-after prize in itself. It isn't unusual to find children of the rich and powerful, or maybe even a teenage celebrity or two walking the halls. However, behind the perfect hair and bright smiles, personalities clash, rumors abound, and relationships are tested. The small picturesque town of Estabrooke is the perfect setting for the drama, scandal, fun and games its residents find themselves involved in, whether they like it or not. Luckily, We also accept scholarship kids. It's nothing these kids can't handle. After all, it's just high school. Right?

"All the time," Izzy said plaintively. Perhaps Jacqueline could make them stop, or at least lessen them.

She'd never heard of the Sight. All she knew was that these beautiful people might not actually be "people" in the sense that others used. Nobody she'd ever met before had wings or could laugh or speak the way Jacqueline. Nobody, except the angels her mother had told bedtime stories about, were even supposed to have wings.

Something deep within Izzy told her, though, that Jacqueline and her guests were not angels. Not one of them had the white, swan-like wings associated with angels.

Simone watched the human girl with hidden wariness behind her glittering eyes. She wondered if the magic had worked-if it would work. Was it too late to salvage her? Would they just have to kill her? Perhaps, but perhaps she would know the trick to saving her own life. Then again, seeing as she'd known nothing about Simone's world before she entered it, she probably wouldn't know anything that could save her. Perhaps, if she had enough fun throughout the night, Simone would find some fancy in her to let her live. Perhaps...

She watched the play of emotions parade across the human's face, amused as confusion showed up time and time again. It wasn't necessarily a good thing that she was confused-she should be blissfully ignorant-but it was amusing to watch, in the very least. Finally she looked up into her face, slight confusion fogging her gaze, and asked a question. So she saw shadows, did she? Not uncommon. Most humans caught a slight glimpse of the fey world from the corners of their eyes every now and then. If she saw them more often, however, she might have the early stages of Sight. How amusing it would be to have a human with the Sight! She tactfully evaded fully answering the question by asking one of her own.

"Well how often do you see these shadows, precious?"

Izzy blinked as apologies slipped through the air, lighter than the beautiful feathers that adorned wings, faces, and fingers in the crowd before her.

She had no idea that faeries could not lie, and therefore had no reason to doubt Jacqueline. Her throat, though, remained frozen as her mind refused to feed her mouth the right things to say. It seemed an eternity ago that she'd last been into town. She could hardly remember it, and yet she felt that this beautiful party with its glorious participants was not where she truly belonged. She tried to think back to the beginning of the day, but couldn't even remember getting out of bed. What did her apartment look like? Why had she come out here in the first place?

It didn't matter. It really didn't. Who cared what her apartment looked like? And so what if she couldn't actually remember getting out of bed and making breakfast? They were such mundane details, hardly worth the attention that Jacqueline, her party, or her guests merited.

Izzy did remember the shadows, though. They had plagued her for over a year and were harder to forget than the layout of yet another apartment she'd just moved into. "Are you the shadows I see sometimes?" she asked, turning her face up toward Jacqueline's, still blissfully hugged to the woman's side. "You and your guests?"

Have fun! ^^ And we will. (For the most part.)

I'll also be unable to get on this weekend--moving back out of the house and into a new dorm. (Voted, if anyone was wondering, #2 party dorm in the US by Playboy. Good grief.)

I just thought I'd let you know that I will be gone from the time I get off tonight until Sunday (after noon). I'm going to my church's Disciple Now program which lasts the whole weekend. There will be no computers, so I won't be able to RP any.

Thanks for reading, sorry I'll be gone, and be good while I'm away. ;D

“Bella, I don’t want you to come with me.”
There was a pause as I repeated the words in my head a few times, sifting through them for their real intent.
“You…don’t…want me?” I tried out the words, confused by the way they sounded in that order.
"No."

Simone could feel her slipping away, feel her becoming conscious of her surroundings and the people laughing at her expense. It wasn't right-the fun shouldn't be over so quickly. She had to get her back into her blissful ignorance, let her be unaware of her torture for a while longer, just enough for Simone to have her fun. It wasn't time for the party to be over yet. She wasn't completely lost yet. Yet. It was time for evasive action.

Simone gracefully wrapped her arm around Isabella's shoulder, the other hand resting gently on the arm closest to her. She hugged her to her side, but didn't acknowledge her directly. Instead she looked cold-faced around the crowd. They felt uneasy over her gaze, and a few took an involuntary step back. She spoke, reprimanding them harshly (even though her voice tinkled with the full bell-like ring from before) for "what they'd done."

"I cannot believe all of you! How could you dare to be so cruel to this harmless and helpless girl?" As she spoke the words, the other fey understood, but they didn't let on. They knew it was all an act, all a game that Simone was playing. They also knew that not to play would mean their doom.

"I can only hope that she forgives me for the way I handled it." Now she turned her face to Isabella with an apologetic smile. "You see, I was only trying to get you away from the others, my dear Isabella. I'm afraid that I pushed you forward with more force than necessary. It was a my fault entirely."

Simone had become expert at her truth-bending, and she almost smiled at her handiwork. She was technically trying to get her away from the others, but beneath them instead of out of them. It was more force than necessary, of course, since she had been injured. And of course it was her fault.

Now she turned to the others again, and her voice was like a mother disciplining her children. "I want you all to apologize."

A chorus of "we're sorry" rang in the air, all different pitches and tones, but all with some sort of bell in their voices. Hopefully it would be enough to convince the girl.

Izzy gasped as she was flung around onto her back. Her should vibrated with the force of her landing. She stared up at the faerie woman leaning over her, dazed. The physical shock to her system was enough to thin the impenatrable fog the faerie magic laced through her mind, but not by much. Was this the same woman who had given her wonderful tasks to finish? The same woman who'd given her a beautiful dress and taken her to the best party anyone could ever imagine?

There was something wrong, she slowly realized. She didn't know what... but no one should hurt her. She knew that much. Her stepbrother had hurt her, and she'd done everything in her power to keep it from happening again.

But she wasn't really hurt, was she? She was at a party. Jacqueline hadn't meant to hurt her. The beautiful woman just didn't know her own strength.

Wordlessly, she clambered to her feet. She kept her eyes on the ground and her hands at her sides as she stood motionlessly. For the first time, she realized there was a crowd watching her. They were not all as beautiful as she'd first thought.

 Don't stop the music

A girl with a frilly skirt and striped leggings walked up the sidewalk, not looking anywhere but at the flashing Neon Sign up ahead. Hot pink and Lime green letters announced the name of the place, Club Chaotic, and a small smile overcame the girl's mask of serenity. Her hair was as green as the highlighted sign she walked toward, and her shoes had to be at least four inches tall. She walked with confidence, despite this height, and enormous grace. Her walk looked as if it belonged on a runway.

When she finally reached the stairs that led to the door into the club, there was no line. Not the most populated town full of teenagers, this place was really just here to be here. Despite this fact, there was still a burly bouncer standing in front of the door as she approached. She flashed him a grin and a wink, and he stepped aside immediately. He waved sheepishly as she paused at the door to hear his greeting.

"Evening Dani. How are you tonight?"

"The world is my oyster Charlie. Glad to see you're well."

Such an easy exchange might have looked as if it'd been planned long ago, but that was just the natural chemistry she had with every male on the planet. At least, every male of the human variety, and most of those of the fey. None could resist her charm, which was why, though she looked seventeen, she was always admitted to the club.

Ah yes, that was one strange thing about this girl. She was no ordinary girl. Imogeme Danielle Tapenade was a faerie, a summer sylph. Burdened by her old woman name given to her almost three hundred years ago, she found that shortening it to "Dani" was much easier, not to mention pleasing to the ear. The bouncer named Charlie opened the door for her with a nod, and she smiled at him again. She half danced, half surged through the beads on the other side and stopped just over the threshold. The door shut silently behind her, and she reveled in the brand-new senses that hit her.

Compared to the quiet noise of the street above, this place was loud, raucous, and strobe-lit. Club Chaotic was certainly a fine name for it. The sweet scent of liquor hit her nostrils and she breathed in, loving the atmosphere in the club. She could never get over it, as many times as she entered. Now that she was in her home, her habitat, she moved with ever more confidence, swift grace, as she moved straight for the bar.

She glided to a stop and lighted easily on one of the stools in front of the long bar, divided every yard or so by beams that held the weight of the building. She let out a whistle, and a few heads turned toward her. The only one that she was interested in, however, was the bar tender. Typically named Joe, he was one of Dani's best friends. He would give her anything, no charge, and he's done that for three years now. He might have to be replaced in a few years, simply because even though the years pass, she remains the same, but he's a good friend for the time being. He turned on his heel, abandoning the petite blonde at the end of the bar, and sauntered over to her.

"Heya Dani, what's your poison tonight?"

"Oh I don't know...surprise me."

"Adventurous are we? I'll see what I can do."

"Thanks Joe."

She turned and crossed her legs casually, surveying the dance floor with interest. Her eyes roved over the blonde Joe had ditched and she smirked. She waved at her with her fingers, and the girl turned away with a huff, flicking her hair over her shoulder. Dani continued scanning the floor, sipping at her drink when it was placed on the bar beside her. It was tangy and strong, burning her throat as it went down, and it made her smile. She didn't bother to ask what it was, just nodding at Joe in approval. He ducked out silently and went back to his other customers. Dani sipped her drink contentedly and waited for something to catch her attention.
