Name. Sarafina Telford
Age. Appears 18 or so
Gender. Female
Race. Faerie
Court, if any. Winter Court
Appearance. She’ll never admit it, but she’s a lovely girl. She looks like a normal human, at first, Her eyes are a mystical hazel, deep and intense. When she’s happy, they have a glow to them, but when she’s angry, her look can be deadly. Her hair is dark brown and nicely wavy, always styled especially nice. She has pale skin, from being stuck indoors a lot, and her build is thin. When she walks, her walk is graceful and flowing. She also walks more upright and proper, which is why some mistake her as arrogant. She wears nicer, more elegant clothing, being more mature than most her age. Her form is slightly curvy, not hugely so. Just nicely. Her eyes have a look of innocence to them. Her feet are on the small side, as well as her hands, and her lips are a bit fuller than most. Her wings are a translucent green, like her eyes. Overall, she’s attractive, but too modest to ever confess it.
Photos, if any.
Personality. Sarafina is unique. Though she may seem cold and aloof, she’s a softhearted girl who inwardly wishes to be “beautiful”. She seems detached at times because she’s unsure, therefore quiet and doesn't speak much, making her seem arrogant. When she does get to know someone, she’s full of imagination and deep thought, and can even be playful and free spirited. Curious, she likes to explore and learn about the things around her. She's always quiet, with an elegant walk and a dancer's grace, from loving to dance. And not dance like most faeries. Graceful, elegant dances, like ballerinas and lyrical dancers. Sarafina is wise for her age, and doesn’t have many friends because they think she’s stuck up. She loves all things music. Watch out, because she’s witty, using her innocent appearance to learn about things going on around her, over hearing secrets and such. When she gets angry, she gets very quiet, very cynical, and very creepy. She daydreams romance day in and day out, and has a bit of a “boy ogling” habit, staring at the good looking men around her. Her heart is closed from men, though, because of a past trust issue, and she hides what happened in her past as much as possible. She often hopes and prays for a good ruler of the court.
History. Her parents are well known and respected faeries in the winter court. They’re proper, spoiled, and greedy attention grabbers known for always getting their way. From the day she was born, they expected their daughter to live up to high expectations. She’s had many tutors for many different subjects since she could remember, and hated nearly every one. Because she was a restless girl, she tried to find ways to escape these lessons. Her parents taught her how to talk right, eat right, and read at a very young age. Sure, she was smart. She learned quickly and made high marks. However, it was too much. No matter how hard she tried, she wasn’t good enough. Whenever she failed, they acted very, very ashamed, putting her down, which gave her a low self image. Even when she was tired or frustrated or crying, she got yelled at for “failing” and “being a disgrace”. Things got no better for her, emotionally, as she grew. She had no true friends, and grew up alone and miserable. Her sheltered life made her a little naive at first, but being observant, she learned about the world around her without having to experience it. Her only freedom was writing. It allowed her to express herself. When she was supposed to be doing work, she’d actually be writing her latest story, which her mother usually ripped up or burned right in front of her face. When she became a radiant teenager, her parents showed her of, forcing her to show her skills to guests whether she wanted to or not. People were impressed with her skill and agility, but she was miserable still. She developed an interest in the human world, and often imagines what it would be like there. . .
Misc. Her favorite weapon is her magic, but she also owns a small dagger and knows swordsmanship. She likes dance, and dances alone in the forest often. She lives with her parents, and thinks of the humans as equals, which she’s often scorned for by her parents.
